Role & Responsibilities:
To ensure all guests receive a warm welcome and are treated to the utmost hospitality and care during their stay, aiming to provide an unforgettable experience.
- Minimize and handle complaints professionally according to policies
- Supervise & manage the restaurant team following company policies and manuals
- Collaborate with the head chef and restaurant manager to maximize sales performance and meet targets
- Control stock and staff costs effectively
- Follow all hotel policies as outlined in training manual
- Ensure quick and efficient service of food and drinks meeting standards
- Train team members effectively in their roles
- Conduct menu training with new menus
- Carry out relevant admin within the department to meet business needs
- Recruit and induct relevant staff following proper procedures
- Stay updated on current promotions and new products
- Inform guests about offers on food and drinks
- Assist in setting up functions and events as per procedures
- Maintain accurate billing systems and ensure all payments are collected
- Observe and comply with cleaning, health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Maintain standards to achieve relevant awards
- Ensure financial diligence and accurate reporting
- Foster good relationships with other departments and communicate effectively
- Understand responsibilities related to fire procedures, health and safety, COSHH, infection control, and emergency aid
