Role & Responsibilities:

To ensure all guests receive a warm welcome and are treated to the utmost hospitality and care during their stay, aiming to provide an unforgettable experience.

  • Minimize and handle complaints professionally according to policies
  • Supervise & manage the restaurant team following company policies and manuals
  • Collaborate with the head chef and restaurant manager to maximize sales performance and meet targets
  • Control stock and staff costs effectively
  • Follow all hotel policies as outlined in training manual
  • Ensure quick and efficient service of food and drinks meeting standards
  • Train team members effectively in their roles
  • Conduct menu training with new menus
  • Carry out relevant admin within the department to meet business needs
  • Recruit and induct relevant staff following proper procedures
  • Stay updated on current promotions and new products
  • Inform guests about offers on food and drinks
  • Assist in setting up functions and events as per procedures
  • Maintain accurate billing systems and ensure all payments are collected
  • Observe and comply with cleaning, health, safety, and hygiene regulations
  • Maintain standards to achieve relevant awards
  • Ensure financial diligence and accurate reporting
  • Foster good relationships with other departments and communicate effectively
  • Understand responsibilities related to fire procedures, health and safety, COSHH, infection control, and emergency aid
