We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency and quality service.
- Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
- Manage food preparation and production processes, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, promoting a safe working environment.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Train new employees on restaurant policies, food safety practices, and service techniques.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service and quality control.
- Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock for food production.
- Assist in menu planning and development alongside the Restaurant Manager.
- Ability to communicate in Spanish is preferred.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
- Background in food preparation, cooking, or culinary arts is highly desirable.
- Previous supervisory or team management experience is required to effectively lead staff.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices is crucial for maintaining compliance.
- Experience serving customers in a fast-paced environment is beneficial.
- Knowledge of barista techniques or hotel operations would be an advantage but not mandatory.
