A leading main contractor with a strong financial position and a global presence is expanding its UK operations. Having secured major social housing contracts, the company is looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join its growing team in Manchester.

The Role:

• Assist in managing project costs, budgets, and financial reporting.
• Support the procurement and management of subcontractors and suppliers.
• Help conduct cost value reconciliations (CVR) and risk assessments.
• Ensure accurate contract administration and timely payments.
• Work closely with senior surveyors and site teams to deliver cost-effective social housing projects.

What We're Looking For:

• Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying (or related field).
• Some experience in construction or residential projects (placement year or entry-level role desirable).
• Strong numerical, analytical, and communication skills.
• A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and develop.
