Job summary

ionic Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor for a permanent role in Salford. You will support the commercial delivery of residential developments, with a focus on new build housebuilding.

The ideal candidate has prior QS experience in housebuilding, strong cost management skills and a solid understanding of subcontractor procurement, cost reporting and payments. A relevant QS qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous Quantity Surveying experience within housebuilding (essential).
• Assistant QS or Quantity Surveyor level considered.
• Strong understanding of residential construction and commercial processes.
• Good knowledge of subcontractor procurement and cost management.
• Excellent numerical, organisational and communication skills.
• Relevant construction or Quantity Surveying qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor project costs throughout the development lifecycle.
• Assist with subcontractor procurement, tendering and appointments.

Salary
