Job Description:

An Assistant Quantity Surveyor is required for a fit-out project based in Bracknell. Our client seeks an experienced and diligent Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on building and construction projects.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor:

• Managing project costs
• Ensuring good value for money
• Assisting in cost forecasting
• Monitoring project finances
• Liaising with clients
• Understanding client needs
• Estimating project costs and timelines
• Contract administration

Requirements for the Role:

• HNC or HND Qualification
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software and knowledge of construction processes and materials
• Strong communication, analytical, negotiation, organizational, and problem-solving skills, especially under pressure
• Knowledge of building codes, construction laws, and health and safety regulations
• Experience with Refurbishments, Fit Out, or CAT A / CAT B projects
