Job summary

A leading company in the rail sector is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor based in Wembley for multiple rail projects. We are currently seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work for a main contractor based in Wembley on multiple multi-discipline rail projects ranging from £500k to £50m. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience across various projects, working on NEC contracts and gaining exposure to Network Rail standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Lead Quantity Surveyor with commercial aspects of assigned projects or cost centres, ensuring a reasonable approach is adopted.
  • Display commercial acumen and understanding.
  • Process weekly P&L and reserve reports as required.
  • Assist with payroll processing as needed.
  • Manage competing priorities and meet personal targets within a demanding workload.
Essential Knowledge:
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent, or currently training towards it.
