Job summary

Pinnacle Recruitment Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor – Rail for roles around Reigate and Surrey.

The successful candidate will support the commercial team on civil rail projects and work across NEC-based contracts, with daily travel to Reigate and occasional trips to London and other site locations. The role offers progression within civil rail, electrification and substations, and requires a degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying with rail or civil exposure, plus a valid UK

Qualifications

• Degree/HND/HNC in Quantity Surveying or working towards
• Experience in civil engineering, rail preferred
• Experience with NEC contracts
• Full UK driving licence and able to travel to Reigate
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK

• Manage existing sub-contractors
• Attend CVR meetings
• Client liaison
• Monthly reports

We are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to work for a main contractor based in Reigate. This is an excellent opportunity for someone to who is looking to progress within the civil engineering industry with a contractor who are continuing to expand within their core sectors, Civil Rail, Electification and Substations.

Candidate Profile

• Degree/ HND/ HNC Qualified in Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management (or working towards)
• Experience within Civil Engineering sectors is essential, preferably within a rail environment
• Experience working on NEC forms of contract
• Be able to travel to Reigate on a daily basis, with travel also to London and Sites around London when required
• Full Clean UK Driving Licence
• Eligibe to live and work permanently in the UK
