Job Description:

We are recruiting for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor (AQS) or Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join us at Octavius, a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK.

You will join our Regional Civil Engineering (RCE) team, a locally focused, self-delivery team specialised in highways and public realm new build, maintenance, and vehicle restraint systems (VRS).

What will you be working on?

• You'll work on a £7 million project in Banwell in collaboration with Galliford Try.
• This one-year NEC contract involves site clearance, excavation, and utility diversion works.
• You will be on-site 3-4 days per week, monitoring project costs and contract administration to ensure successful delivery.

Who will you work with?

You will collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals delivering projects across various frameworks with clients such as Galliford Try. You will also work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor, who will visit weekly to guide and support you.

• NEC contract experience is essential.
