Assistant Quantity Surveyor - London

SSA are currently recruiting for a qualified Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work with a well-renowned M&E contractor, working on various projects in the London Area. They are currently looking for someone to aid the Senior Quantity Surveyor as well as have independent responsibilities among future projects.

Duties may involve but are not limited to:

  1. Assist in production of accurate project cost reporting, commercial dashboards, and project cost forecasts
  2. Identification and evaluation of commercial risks and opportunities for improved performance
  3. Aid in subcontract evaluation and management
  4. Assist in the production of accurate and timely Cost Value Reports
  5. Provide support to all ongoing project and commercial reviews
  6. Assisting with valuations
  7. Building relationships with clients and other key stakeholders
  8. Assisting in the development of junior members of staff

Role and Requirements:

  1. Minimum 1 year experience required
  2. Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Economics
  3. Ability to work both individually and as part of a team
  4. Excellent IT skills essential
  5. Strong communication and organization skills

My client is offering circa £32k - £45k dependent on experience + package
