Job summary

RSE is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Asset Management team on a permanent basis in Warrington. You will help manage the financial and commercial aspects of projects and portfolios, collaborating with the commercial and delivery teams to ensure robust costing and value delivery.

The role requires a RICS qualification or equivalent, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication. NEC contract experience is a plus, and a UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• RICS recognised qualification or equivalent in Surveying, Construction, Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Experience in NEC contracts would be beneficial.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Work with Commercial team to update project costing reports.
• Prepare Activity Schedules, Bills of Quantities and resource profiling.
• Prepare Applications for Payment for submission to Clients.
• Sub-contract administration: develop sub-contract documents, review and agree valuations, manage variations, and final accounts.
• Analyse commercial progress of allocated projects with project delivery team.
• Prepare internal reports such as financial reconciliation and anticipated project performance.
