Overview

THE ROLE

My client, an established firm of PQS now seeks an ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR to join them in central London. You will work on a range of infrastructure projects starting off by working on various power / utilities projects. They are keen to find an ambitious QS who has been working for a firm of PQS and who is either working towards becoming MRICS qualified or keen to work towards charteredship. My client offers good ongoing training.

The Company

My client is a firm of PQS with a good range of clients mainly in the private sector and public sectors. They are a firm of construction consultants offering clients both cost management and project management services.

Responsibilities

• Work on infrastructure projects, initially focusing on power and utilities.
• Collaborate with a friendly team on project delivery.
• Engage in both pre- and post-contract duties as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Currently an Assistant Quantity Surveyor with experience in a UK firm of PQS.
• Experience on infrastructure projects, particularly power / utilities.
• Some experience with NEC contracts would be preferred.
• 1 to 3+ years of experience in both pre- and post-contract duties.
• Working towards chartered status or keen to do so.
• Strong team-player with a stable work record.
• Excellent written and spoken English, good IT skills, and good client-facing skills.

Salary and Benefits

• Salary in the region of £44,000 to £46,000.
