Job summary

Ipsum is looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our Chorley/Haydock offices on a full-time basis. You will work with the Quantity Surveyor and Commercial Team to support the development, implementation, and management of commercial activities and controls within the business unit.

Ideal candidates have around 2 years of experience in a commercial team and hold a full UK driving licence. This role is office-based with career development and progression opportunities within Ipsum.

Qualifications

• Around 2 years experience in a role within a commercial team.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract/project performance including CVR reviews.
• Review contracts and support with mitigating risk.
• Report on and challenge performance for project cashflows and profitability.
• Subcontractor management.
• Support the Commercial Team with ad hoc projects and continuous improvement of business processes
• Support the operational team in daily commercial and contractual aspects
• Support the Commercial Team with the implementation of processes and systems
