Job Description:

The Vacancy

  • Interpretation and understanding of the obligations, responsibilities, and liabilities of the parties to the contract.
  • Interpretation and understanding of the contract estimate, including settlement adjustments.
  • Assist Intermediate Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor with:
  • Providing commercial, contractual, and financial advice to the delivery team.
  • Ensuring adherence to delivery procedures and reporting systems.
  • Preparation and submission of reports by deadlines.
  • Managing subcontract packages, including documentation, assessments, and variations.
  • Archiving essential project documentation.
  • Resolving commercial, contractual, and construction issues.
  • Protecting the company's commercial interests, including timely payments.
About You
  • GCSE Maths and English.
  • Studying for HNC, HND, or Degree.
  • Experience or awareness of subcontract accounts, procurement schedules, payment applications, final accounts, cost/value reporting, and variations.
  • Knowledge of Quantity Surveying, standard contract forms, and construction processes.
  • Strong communication and numeracy skills, intermediate proficiency in Excel and Word, problem-solving ability.
