Job Description

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor on this project, you will be a vital member of the team, working with colleagues and the client to:

1. Support project delivery while achieving target margins
2. Ensure all contractual processes are observed, notices issued, records kept, and documents stored
3. Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, consultants, subcontractors, and colleagues across the Property Services pillar
4. Prepare and negotiate interim valuations and final accounts, including all necessary measurements
5. Document and record any variations agreed with the supply chain

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have experience in a commercial role for a main contractor, delivering projects to successful, profitable completion.

Prior experience in a social housing environment and a good understanding of regeneration and refurbishment contracts are required.

You should be an enthusiastic, committed team player capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrating commercial awareness, legal and contractual knowledge, and sound data interrogation skills is essential.
