Job description

Fawkes & Reece South are working with a growing contractor that works on civil engineering and infrastructure projects on behalf of private clients throughout the Southwest of England. Their projects are worth between £5m to £15m based on both JCT & NEC contracts.

They are seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a busy team to work assist a Senior Quantity Surveyor on various commercial duties that will include:

• Accurate monthly forecasting
  
  
• Producing bill of quantities/activity schedule for payment purposes
  
  
• Producing and sending subcontractors enquiries
  
  
• Producing monthly reports and cost value reconciliations
  
  
• Managing change and producing compensation events
  
  
• Attending weekly progress meetings

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:

Degree-qualified or equivalent in a civil engineering subject

Experience working on any civil engineering or infrastructure related projects

Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
