Are you an Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to take the next step in your career? ITS Construction Recruitment is working with a respected family-run contractor to find a motivated and ambitious individual looking to develop into a full Quantity Surveyor role.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a subcontractor background and some commercial experience who's looking for mentorship, support, and the chance to grow within an established business with a strong project pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support and eventually lead in preparing accurate monthly client valuations
2. Assist with and learn to produce detailed project cost reports
3. Develop skills in pricing variations from first principles
4. Assist with subcontractor procurement and payments
5. Attend weekly site visits to gain hands-on project understanding
6. Work closely with the commercial team and clients to ensure project success

What We're Looking For

1. Experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, ideally with exposure to civil engineering works
2. Subcontractor or specialist contractor background preferred
3. Eagerness to learn, take on more responsibility, and grow into a QS role
4. Strong communication and organisational skills
5. Full UK driving licence is essential
6. Positive attitude and a team player
