A leading company in affordable housing, Lovell, seeks an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support financial and cost control on projects across Bristol, Bridgwater, and Taunton. This role involves assisting Senior Quantity Surveyors, with responsibilities in cost management, cash administration, and project collaboration. Ideal candidates will possess construction knowledge, experience in housing, and an understanding of contract management.
Permanent Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
Here at Lovell, we are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join us and work on schemes across Bristol, Bridgwater, and Taunton.
The successful candidate will provide valuable support to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Quantity Surveyor by assisting in the day-to-day financial and cost control, as well as reporting on one or more developments from the award stage up to and including the completion of client and sub-contract final accounts, recovery/discharge of all retentions, and completion of archive material.

About you
With previous experience working as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, ideally within the housing industry, you will have construction knowledge and an understanding of contract record administration and contractual obligations. Knowledge of COINS would be highly beneficial.
