We are looking to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our team based from our Peterborough office, PE3 9TP.

About The Role

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will assist with the day-to-day financial control, reporting, and commercial performance management of a large Decarbonisation project. Your responsibilities include assisting the lead Quantity Surveyor with cash management, including timely application, certification, invoicing, payment, and administration of subcontract accounts.

About You

Candidates should have knowledge of measurement and valuation, a good understanding of budgets, forecast management, CVRs, financial reports, and final accounts. Knowledge of cyclical and planned maintenance is essential, and experience in Decarbonisation or Retrofit works is advantageous. Proficiency in IT systems and packages is also required.

The Ideal Candidate Will Also Possess

• Experience working with a Social Housing Tier 1 Principal Contractor
• Experience in an Assistant Quantity Surveyor role

Essential Qualifications

• Level 4 in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• CSCS Card Red or in progress
