With a strong reputation in the care, residential, and education sectors, our client is growing fast — and they’re looking to bring on board a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support a major development based in East Kent.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of valuations, cost reports, and financial documentation.
- Support with procurement of subcontractors and supplier packages.
- Help manage subcontractor accounts and monitor on-site costs.
- Work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage budgets and cash flow forecasts.
- Support the production of cost/value reconciliations and variation tracking.
- Contribute to accurate record-keeping and reporting for project progress and commercial performance.
- Attend site and client meetings as required, developing your understanding of contract management and construction delivery.
What Our Client Is Looking For:
- A degree (or working towards) in Quantity Surveying or a construction-related discipline.
- Some experience in a similar role is preferred, ideally with a main contractor (placement years welcome).
- Strong numeracy, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A proactive approach and a positive attitude toward teamwork and development.
