With active sites across Banbury, Milton Keynes, Bedford, Essex, Oxford, Knebworth, and Barking, and a turnover of GBP40 million, supported by in-house plant and equipment, you’ll be part of an ambitious company delivering impactful results.

Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Quantity Surveyor

1. Assist in managing the financial and contractual aspects of groundworks and construction projects
2. Support in preparing cost estimates, valuations, and final accounts
3. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and smooth project delivery
4. Help with procurement, tendering, and tracking variations
5. Monitor cost reporting and assist with budget management across live projects
6. Work on projects within Residential and Commercial sectors across multiple UK locations

Skills and Experience Required

1. Experience in groundworks and construction operations is highly desirable
2. Knowledge of Residential and Commercial construction sectors
3. Strong communication, organisation, and team collaboration skills
4. Some experience or exposure to Plots, Roads & Sewers, Earthworks, and S278 works is advantageous
5. A motivated, proactive attitude with a desire to develop your QS career
