Brandon James is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join a growing, socially focused construction consultancy based in Central London. You will support delivery of housing, regeneration, residential, education, public sector, and community projects across London and the South East.

This role offers the chance to build strong consultancy experience, gain client exposure, and progress toward chartership, with hybrid/flexible working and APC/MRICS support.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a RICS-accredited equivalent.
• 1+ years' Quantity Surveying experience.
• Consultancy/PQS experience preferred.
• Working towards MRICS or APC.

• Assist with cost plans and tender documentation.
• Assist with procurement, valuations, and cost reports.
• Handle change control and final accounts.
• Work closely with Senior Quantity Surveyors and Directors.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor's Role

The successful Assistant Quantity Surveyor will join a growing, socially focused construction consultancy based in Central London.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will support the delivery of housing, regeneration, residential, education, public sector, and community-led projects across London and the South East.

This is a brilliant opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking to build strong consultancy experience, gain client exposure, and progress towards chartership.

Day to day, the Assistant Quantity Surveyor will assist with cost plans, tender documentation, procurement, valuations, cost reports, change control, and final accounts.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will work closely with Senior Quantity Surveyors and Directors, gaining hands-on project experience within a supportive and ambitious team.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor - Requirements

• A degree in Quantity Surveying, or a RICS-accredited equivalent
• 1+ years' Quantity Surveying experience
• Consultancy / PQS experience preferred
• Working towards MRICS, or keen to begin APC
• Good pre and post contract knowledge
• Confident communicator and eager to learn
• Professional, organised, and commercially aware
• Able to commute to Central London
