This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK s most respected heritage and conservation contractors, supporting the commercial management of restoration projects across London and the South East.

What You ll Be Doing (The Role)

• Supporting senior Quantity Surveyors with commercial management across multiple conservation projects
• Assisting with valuations, variations, subcontractor payments, and cost reporting
• Helping to manage procurement and tender comparisons for specialist trades
• Attending site visits, taking measurements, and supporting cost analysis and forecasting
• Preparing project documentation in line with contract and heritage requirements
• Working closely with site teams and consultants to ensure financial accuracy and compliance

About You

• Experience in an Assistant QS or Trainee QS role within construction, ideally with refurbishment or traditional build exposure
• Interest in heritage, listed buildings, and traditional materials like stone, timber, lime, and lead
• Strong numeracy, attention to detail, and willingness to learn from senior professionals
• Familiar with core QS tasks such as cost control, subcontractor accounts, and valuations
• Degree-qualified or working towards a qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
• Motivated to develop in a specialist sector and take on more responsibility over time
