Qualifications

Responsibilities

Newbury | 2 Days Office, 3 Days On-Site

Are you an Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to take the next step in your career? This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading contractor delivering Design & Build projects across sectors including education, healthcare, MoD, and commercial, with values from £1M to £15M.

The Role:

As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you'll work closely with Senior and Managing QSs to develop your commercial knowledge and take on increasing responsibilities across live projects, including:

• Assisting with cost planning, procurement, and subcontractor management
• Supporting the preparation of valuations and final accounts
• Attending site meetings and liaising with project teams
• Developing understanding of risk management and contract administration

What We're Looking For:

• 1-3 years' experience in a QS or AQS role (main contractor preferred)
• Good understanding of the construction process and interest in D&B projects
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Degree-qualified or working towards (or equivalent experience)
