Job description

Our Client are a £500million turnover main contractor specialising in new build projects across the UK with over 500 employees now contributing to their year on year growth. They have recently been awarded a 500 unit residential new build project over 14 storeys, with a Commercial Manager and Senior Quantity Surveyor working on the scheme you will be supporting them both on this flagship project running for the next 2.5 years.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in managing the project's financial aspects, including cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  2. Collaborate with senior surveyors to monitor project costs and ensure financial efficiency.
  3. Support the procurement process, including tendering and contract administration.
  4. Assist in the preparation and evaluation of cost plans and reports.
  5. Work closely with the project team to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and timelines.

Qualifications & Experience:
  1. Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  2. Some experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry is advantageous.
  3. Familiarity with construction contracts and procurement processes.
  4. Strong analytical and numerical skills.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
