Clancy is seeking an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor to contribute to smarter, greener infrastructure projects. You will assist in managing commercial responsibilities to maximise profit and control costs, while developing tenders and contracts with NEC3 ECC3 standards.

Are you an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute to smarter, greener infrastructure projects? We have a fantastic role waiting for you! Join our team and play a pivotal role in achieving our vision of delivering brilliant infrastructure solutions.
You will assist in the management of commercial responsibilities in order to maximise profit and control costs.
Ideally, you have a relevant degree in construction or commercial management and demonstrable experience in subcontractor management. A strong commercial awareness and a thorough understanding of NEC3 forms of contract-particularly ECC NEC3 Option C-are essential, along with sound knowledge of relevant construction and contract law. You should possess good technical construction knowledge and advanced Excel skills, as well as excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving capabilities.
Previous client‑facing experience is preferred, and you must be comfortable developing and maintaining relationships with project stakeholders at all levels. Good verbal and written communication skills are vital to effectively convey complex commercial information and support collaborative project delivery.
You will need the ability to prioritise your own workload and act collaboratively while inspiring others to do the same. The role requires a proactive approach in identifying and escalating issues promptly, showing resilience in the face of challenges, and taking personal responsibility for problem resolution
