Location: Kent (Office-based, with site visits)

Are you a Junior or Assistant Quantity Surveyor with months experience looking to take the next step in your career?
Our client a respected and growing fit-out contractor specialising in both office and retail/shop fit-out projects is considering bringing in a motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their close-knit team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has already started their QS journey and wants to gain deeper commercial experience across varied, fast-paced fit-out schemes.

The Role

• Assisting with cost planning, tendering, and procurement

• Supporting senior QSs with valuations, variations, and interim payments

• Attending site visits and supporting with site measurements and progress tracking

• Engaging with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams

• Working on projects from pre-construction to final account

What They re Looking For

• months experience in a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within interior fit-out (offices or retail)

• HNC or HND in Construction or a related field (a degree is not essential)

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a willingness to learn

• Based in Kent this is an office-based role (5 days a week) with occasional site visits
