Job Title: Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Location: Bristol
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum
Type: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role:
Panoramic Associates are supporting a Bristol based, multidisciplinary construction consultancy. With expertise in project management, cost consultancy and building surveying, our client is committed to delivering sustainable and socially responsible solutions.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Management: Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans for construction projects.
  • Tender Analysis: Evaluate contractor and supplier tenders, ensuring competitive and accurate pricing.
  • Valuations and Payments: Support in preparing interim valuations and final accounts.
  • Contract Administration: Assist in administering contracts, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
  • Reporting: Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to clients and senior colleagues.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships.
  • Document Management: Ensure all project documentation is accurate, organized, and up to date.
  • Professional Development: Pursue opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth within the company.


Essential skills and qualification:

  • A degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and learning.
  • A valid UK driving license.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Progress towards RICS or CIOB accreditation.
  • Relevant work experience through placements or internships.
