Job description

TristoneNash are pleased to be supporting one of our close housing partners to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor on a 6 months fixed term contract to support the commercial team on new build residential projects in the West Midlands.

The Assistant Quantity Surveyor will help manage the cost estimates and legal processes of new build developments as well as procurement on new sites.

Additional duties will see the Assistant Quantity Surveyor:
  • Work with the Commercial Manager and Quantity Surveyors to establish the housing association client requirements and undertake feasibility studies to ensure that proposals will work.
  • Prepare and analyse estimated project costs and outcomes, whilst investigating and advising on alternative methods and options, to ensure the housing association receives best value for money through planning at design stage.
  • Undertake Value for Money analysis for proposed schemes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a junior or Assistant Quantity Surveyor with exposure to the construction sector delivering new build housing projects from a commercial perspective to join one of the most recognised Housing Associations in the Country. CVR experience would also be advantageous.
