Job summary

WES is looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our permanent team to support the delivery of works to the UK water industry. You will work with an established team to manage the financial and commercial aspects of individual projects and larger frameworks.

Please note that you will be required to visit other offices occasionally as part of the role.

A UK driving licence and strong Excel IT skills are essential to succeed in this position.

Qualifications

• RICS recognised qualification or equivalent in Surveying, Construction, Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications to prepare Bills of Quantities/Schedules of Rates and other procurement documents.
• Experience in contract final accounts including valuations and variations.
• Experience in NEC contracts would be beneficial.
• Good IT literacy with competency in Excel.

• Analyzing the commercial progress of allocated projects with the project delivery team.
• Preparing internal reports such as financial reconciliation and anticipated project performance.
• Negotiating final account with Client(s).

Due to continued growth, WES, part of the RSE Group, is looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join us on a permanent basis to aid in the delivery of works to the Water industry. Your role will involve working with an established team to manage and deliver the financial and commercial aspects of individual projects and larger portfolios of frameworks.

Please note with this position, you will be required to visits to other offices on occasion.
