A growing Housing Developer seeks an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their new office in the East Midlands. The role includes cost analysis, tender preparation, and project budget management. Required are a valid Driving Licence and previous Quantity Surveying experience, preferably in housing projects. This position offers a salary of £35,000 - £50,000 per annum along with benefits including car allowance, private pension, and healthcare.

Qualifications

  • Valid Driving Licence is required.
  • Previous experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably in housing projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing tender and contract documents.
  • Conduct cost analysis and prepare cost reports.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets.
  • Assist in negotiating and managing subcontractor contracts.
  • Prepare and submit valuations and applications for payment.
  • Provide support in resolving contractual and commercial issues.
  • Assist in final account preparation.

Job Type: Permanent, full-time hours Monday to Friday. FLEXIBLE WORKING FROM HOME
