This role provides experience in the world of IT systems assurance in addition to the novel application of nursing/medical/scientific knowledge. NHSBT core IT systems are very extensive. This is a great opportunity to build knowledge of what it takes to control IT system changes, in a complex environment, in a manner that keeps patients and donors safe and meets the requirements of the various regulations applicable across the organisation. In this role you would take part in that challenge.

Main duties of the job
In this role you will be part of a team of Assistant Quality Managers, working with other teams to ensure safe, efficient, and effective delivery of NHSBT IT systems software and hardware through testing and participation in software development, as required to support implementation of national IT systems throughout NHSBT.
