Job summary

Marston’s is seeking an Assistant Manager to join our pub team in the UK. You’ll lead from the front, motivating staff and delivering memorable guest experiences while deputising for the General Manager when needed.

You’ll drive financial and KPI performance, inspire the team on every shift, and uphold our values by doing the right thing for colleagues and guests. A clear career path exists through our Aspire programme.

Qualifications

• Experience in a like-for-like Assistant/ Deputy Manager role in a branded pub environment.
• Interest in leading and developing a pub team to deliver great guest experiences.
• Ability to support the General Manager with financial and KPI delivery.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the pub management team, stepping up when the General Manager isn’t around.
• Lead from the front to create memorable experiences that bring guests back.
• Support the GM in achieving financial and business KPI’s.
• Inspire and motivate the pub team on every shift.
• Be accountable for the successful operation of the pub when deputising for the GM.
