Thames Valley School is an Autism Specific Specialist Free School seeking an Assistant Psychologist for September 2025 due to growth and increased pupil numbers. Who we are looking for:

• Able to devise and deliver therapy programmes and interventions under supervision of the Transdisciplinary Team
• Good written and verbal skills
• Good organisational skills
• Good interpersonal skills – including listening and observation skills.
• Responsible for running groups under the supervision of the specialist therapists
• Ability to learn therapy procedures following in service training and support
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
• Ability to uphold confidentiality.
• Ability to deal with pupils who present with complex behavioural and learning needs.
• The ability to abide to the relevant professional bodies

Experience:

• Two years’ relevant experience of working with people with special educational needs or experience of working in an educational setting
