Practice Plus Group Holdings Limited is seeking an Assistant Psychologist to support psychological care across patients in secure environments. You will run clinics, conduct assessments, and deliver individual and group sessions under supervision, with a focus on trauma-informed approaches.

The role requires a Psychology degree (Masters beneficial), experience in prison or similar settings, and ability to work within ACCT/CSIP processes. A rewarding, fast-paced environment awaits.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Psychology is required.
• Masters degree is beneficial but not essential.
• Experience as Assistant Psychologist in prison, community, or psychiatric settings.
• Experience facilitating patient therapeutic groups and delivering assessments, formulation and interventions (CBT/CFT/DBT).
• Experience in secure environments is a bonus.

Aufgaben

• Support the psychological care of patients throughout their journey with us.
• Run clinics, assessments, and 1-1 sessions with patients.
• Triage assessments and identifying patient needs.
• Prepare and deliver psychological intervention group sessions (trauma informed).
• Provide psychological assessment and interventions under supervision of a qualified psychologist.
• Work with people with complex needs and potentially challenging behaviours.
• Contribute to ACCT, CSIP processes and report changes to the mental health team.
• Monitor patient function and mental health during interventions.
