Job summary

Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust (CWPT) seeks a psychologist with Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership to help divert people from the criminal justice system and reduce reoffending by expanding access to psychological interventions.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, conduct assessments and interventions, and contribute to improved outcomes across Coventry and Warwickshire.

Qualifications

  • Good Honours undergraduate degree (with GBC) in Psychology.
  • Experience in psychological difficulties such as anxiety and depression, and working with people within mental health services.
  • Experience in a service with targets and demonstrated clinical outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate complex clinical information to clients and professionals clearly.
  • Deliver psychological services across CWPT and partner organisations.
  • Contribute to improving access to psychological interventions and reducing reoffending.

The team, with support of criminal justice partners and colleagues, aims to divert people away from the criminal justice system and short custodial sentences, and reduce reoffending via improving access to psychological interventions by addressing underlying unmet needs.
