Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for the Band 4 Assistant Psychologist role within Solar TEDS (The Eating Disorder Service) based at Freshfields Clinic in Knowle. The post involves working in a multidisciplinary team with children and young people who have eating disorders, under supervision of a Clinical Psychologist.

Qualifications

• Motivated psychology graduates with strong communication and organisational skills.
• Interest in mental health, eating disorders and neurodevelopmental needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with psychological assessments and support formulation-informed interventions.
• Contribute to group work and deliver workshops under supervision.
• Support collection and recording of outcome measures.
• Prepare clinical materials and support service development activities.
• Support clinical/administrative functions and MDT collaboration.
• May travel to other bases and home visits as required.
