The role and person
In this role, you will work alongside qualified psychologists assessing adults for ASD and ADHD, using tools like ADOS 2 and other psychometrics, with full training provided. Most assessments are conducted online, with some face-to-face assessments possible.
You will support the administration and writing of clinical reports, working with a team of clinicians. Previous ASD/ADHD experience is desirable, but training and supervision will be provided.
You should have at least a 2:1 degree in psychology. You will work under the supervision of qualified psychologists and will manage databases to monitor clinical outcomes and service delivery.
Excellent written, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential, as you will act as a link between clinicians and other team members.
Previous experience working with children or adults is desirable but not essential, as support will be provided through supervision. The role requires autonomy and responsibility; therefore, prior experience as an Assistant Psychologist is advantageous, along with good time management skills.
A full, clean driving license and access to a car are essential, as travel may be required.
