Job summary

Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Assistant Psychologist to join the Child Psychology Team within Clinical Health Psychology and the Airedale CDC. The role spans ASC assessments for 0-7 years and therapeutic input for children with long-term health conditions.

You will contribute to multidisciplinary assessments, deliver observations in school and home environments, and provide follow-up support post-diagnosis under clinical supervision.

Qualifications

• Experience as Assistant Clinical Psychologist or NHS experience with children and adolescents.
• Experience with ASC assessments and neurodevelopmental differences in early years.
• Ability to work in MDT settings and conduct psychometric assessments.

Responsibilities

• Work in Child Psychology Team assessing ASC in children aged 0-7 years.
• Provide psychological input for children with long-term health conditions.
• Deliver observations in education and home settings with clinical oversight.
• Support follow-up after assessment/diagnosis and contribute to service evaluations.
