The LDP includes five locality-based integrated community teams comprising social workers, care co-ordinators, psychiatrists, and therapists (occupational, arts, speech & language), working closely with local services and partners.

Healthcare practitioners are employed by the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust but work within the LDP. The service has strong links with the University of East Anglia and the University of Cambridge, providing placements for trainee clinical psychologists.

Job responsibilities include:

  3. Recognising team members' skills and collaborating on assessments and treatment.
  4. Reviewing service users' care and participating in multidisciplinary reviews.
  5. Contributing to the development of psychologically-based frameworks of understanding and care.
  6. Attending and contributing to team and multidisciplinary meetings.
  7. Working in community settings, including homes, which may involve lone working and risk.
  8. Assisting in the coordination and running of therapeutic groups.

Cambridgeshire & Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is committed to high-quality, compassionate care, aiming to improve health and wellbeing. We recruit candidates who share our values and support diversity, including from under-represented groups.
