We are looking for an Assistant Psychologist to join our team at Broughton House & Satellites.

This role involves working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Broughton House is a 29-bed specialist residential service for adults with severe learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviors. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable, and effective care environment, promoting independence and community integration.

Your Day-to-Day

We seek a highly motivated candidate to support and enhance psychological care by assisting the Qualified Psychologist with:

  • Assessments, scoring, and reporting (verbal/written)
  • Clinical formulation and care plan implementation for psychological treatment
  • Planning, delivering, and evaluating individual/group programmes
  • Administration, audit, research, and service development

We're looking for someone who is

  • Degree qualified in Psychology (2:1 or above) or equivalent
  • BPS (British Psychological Society) Accredited
  • Preferably experienced in healthcare and/or in an Assistant Psychologist role
  • Passionate about learning and working as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Qualified to Master's degree level or higher in Psychology (preferable)
