Job Description

We’re recruiting for an Assistant Propositions Manager to join us. Supporting key activities within the Product & Propositions Development team, you'll ensure our products are fit for purpose, meet customer needs, and comply with regulatory standards. You will be responsible for producing accurate MI, compiling key risk documents, and contributing to strategic projects to support the delivery of the Retail Protection Product Strategy.

What you'll be doing:
  1. Developing and reviewing L&G Retail Protection products, market analysis, and competitor offerings by monitoring and analysing a wide range of MI. Use this analysis to produce reports supporting the identification of opportunities and the optimisation of L&G Retail Protection end-to-end product propositions, customer outcomes, and New Business Value Add.
  2. Collaborating to support the delivery of product and proposition developments aligned with the Retail Protection Product Strategy, working across functions to maximise commercial benefits and customer outcomes.
  3. Supporting the product team in preparing documentation for key committees to secure approval for product developments.
  4. Assisting in product launches by creating sales briefing and training materials.
  5. Maintaining market-leading rankings on key comparison portals such as FTRC and CI Expert.
  6. Supporting Product Managers with post-launch reviews by collating MI, qualitative and quantitative data, and drafting necessary documents.
  7. Managing team mailbox queries, invoice payments, and updating internal sources of information regarding Protection Products to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
Qualifications: Who we're looking for:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Protection Product knowledge (advantageous)
  • Experience in MI presentation and report collation
  • Skills in statistical analysis and storytelling with data
  • Familiarity with Power BI and Excel data manipulation (desirable)
  • Product review experience (advantageous)
  • Effective communication skills with stakeholders at various levels
