Overview: We are a mid-sized landlord with over 40 years in business, seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the Property Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining strong relationships with tenants and vendors. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, effective communication abilities, and a passion for property management.

  1. Responsibilities:
    • Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the property, including tenant relations and maintenance requests.
    • Maintain accurate records through data entry and file management.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and prospective residents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
    • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software to track interactions and maintain tenant information.
    • Support the Property Manager in marketing efforts and sales initiatives to attract new tenants.
    • Coordinate maintenance schedules and work orders using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
    • Ensure compliance with property regulations and policies while fostering a positive living environment.
  2. Experience and Qualifications:
    • Previous experience in property management or a related administrative role preferred.
    • Working towards a designation or diploma in property management is a plus.
    • Strong office skills, including proficiency in data entry and file organization.
    • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills.
    • Familiarity with CRM systems and CMMS is advantageous.
    • Proactive attitude with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
