Role: Assistant Property Manager - North Region

Location: North

Malmaison and Hotel du Vin have 37 boutique hotels across the UK. This position supports 18 properties in the North Region, from Manchester to Aberdeen. Regular travel between sites is required, with flexibility to support other regions based on business needs.

We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support the Property & Development team. This role involves assisting the Property Manager with operational and maintenance activities, vendor management, compliance, budgeting, and sustainability initiatives.

You will act as a key liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders, maintaining high standards of property performance, safety, and guest satisfaction.

What you’ll be doing as an Assistant Property Manager:
  • Assist in daily property operations, including maintenance support, site visits, and safety protocols.
  • Support the Property Manager in leading Maintenance Managers and teams.
  • Manage relationships with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and compliant service delivery.
  • Monitor property spend, track budgets, and identify cost efficiencies.
  • Conduct property inspections and audits to ensure regulatory compliance; support safety procedures and follow up on audit actions.
  • Support ESG activities like energy efficiency and waste management, including data collection and reporting.
  • Coordinate property projects, repairs, and renovations, liaising with contractors and internal teams.
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities and compliance documentation, providing updates to stakeholders.
