THE ROLEWe’re looking for a passionate and proactive Assistant Project Officer to join the Homeless Prevention team at The Spires, a 26-bed move-on scheme supporting individuals who have experienced or are at risk of rough sleeping.
- Provide person-centred support that empowers residents to live independently
- Support tenant wellbeing and engagement with local services
- Deliver activities promoting inclusion, wellbeing and life skills
- Maintain accurate case notes and electronic records
- Monitor rent payments and provide office cover, handling reception and phone enquiries
- Carry out health and safety checks across the building and apartments
- Identify and report safeguarding concerns in line with procedures
THE CANDIDATEWe are looking for someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally within housing or homelessness services.
- Experience supporting people who have experienced homelessness or multiple disadvantage
- Good verbal and written communication skills with a flexible approach
- Knowledge of safeguarding adults and relevant procedures
- Comfortable delivering group activities or community events
- Competent using IT systems including Microsoft Office for record keeping and admin
THE CONTRACTFull Time, 35 Hours per week.
Shifts include 8am–4pm and 12pm–8pm with occasional Saturdays (9am–5pm).
3 Month Temporary Contract – Temp to Perm opportunity.
The pay for the role is
£16.13 per hour (LTD) or
£13.84 per hour PAYE, inclusive of holiday.
