Job Title: Planner - Building Team

We are seeking a Planner to join our Building team in Tewkesbury. The role involves developing, maintaining, and updating the project programme to produce an accurate schedule that manages time risks and is trustworthy for the project team and customer.

This key role requires close collaboration with the site team and suppliers to monitor progress and outputs, providing a short-term planning interface between operational and planning teams, and identifying areas for programme improvement.

What you'll do:

1. Assist with maintaining and updating the project programme, prepare programme submission documents, and internal reports.
2. Collaborate with the project team and suppliers to produce, challenge, and maintain collaborative short-term programmes aligned with the main programme.
3. Ensure that lookahead and supplier programmes are accurate.
4. Contribute to collaborative planning and lead short-term programme sessions.

What you'll bring to the role:

• Construction experience with a technical understanding of engineering principles, construction techniques, and best practices.
• Experience in developing short-term programmes for sections of work.
• Understanding of the time impact of typical construction risks and opportunities.
• Knowledge of the construction market, methods, plant, equipment, and labor requirements.
