Salary £40k - £45k, salary depending on skills and experience
Permanent, 37 Hours a week
Location: Hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days a week in-person from Peterborough or London with occasional travel to one of our sites

We’re looking for a motivated and ambitious Assistant Project Manager, minimum 2 years of major infrastructure experience, to support one of the largest and most complex infrastructure programmes the UK water sector has seen in decades.

The Reservoirs Programme focuses on two new, large-scale raw water reservoirs — the Fens Reservoir and the Lincs Reservoir — along with all the associated infrastructure. Serving the East of England and East Midlands, this is the largest and most complex programme of work ever undertaken by Anglian Water — securing sustainable water supplies for to come.
This nationally significant programme involves securing planning approval for each scheme via the Development Consent Order (DCO) process, as well as developing the procurement and delivery strategy for future licenced Infrastructure Providers (IPs), who will ultimately design, build, finance, and operate the reservoir systems.
Background in infrastructure development
Experience in the water sector (desirable)
APM-PFQ or equivalent
Familiarity with health & safety standards
Strong project management and organisational skills
Clear and confident communicator, able to build relationships and influence
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently
Valid driving licence
Personal private health care
