Job description

Assistant Project Manager / Site Engineer.
Civil Engineering Main Contractor

Are you a Civil Engineer with site experience looking for a new challenge in the Southwest?
RGB are currently supporting a Civil Engineering Main contractor who are currently working on a Highways scheme in Devon as they look to recruit some additional support for their Project Manager and team.

Other duties may include:

  • Assist with the management of subcontractors on site
  • Assist with quality checks of work carried out on site
  • Have regular communication with the team to ensure the works are within the cost allowance.
  • Assist with implementation of constructions health & safety such as safe systems of works, point of work risk assessment and relevant permits.
  • Attended and participated in weekly meetings with clients and designers when needed
  • Assisting with Setting out, levelling and surveying
  • Working with site plans, drawings and building information models
  • Liaising with designers and engineers to ensure plans and drawings are accurate
  • Overseeing quality control
  • Monitoring health and safety
  • Assisting with keeping a site diary

Requirements for the role:
  • Minimum 1 years setting out experience in housing, construction or civil engineering.
  • Degree or HNC/D level in a relevant area of Civil Engineering / Construction.
  • SSSTS / CSCS & First Aid
