Senior Business Administrator / Assistant Project Manager

Location: Stratford, London | Rail & Infrastructure Company

Type: Full-Time | Office Based | Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 17:30

Are you an organised, proactive professional with experience in business administration and project coordination? We're looking for a Senior Business Administrator / Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team at a Rail and Infrastructure contractor based in Stratford.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment where your contribution will support the smooth running of business operations and delivery of key projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist with the coordination and delivery of small-scale projects, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
  2. Use and maintain our Quality Management System (ISO standards), supporting internal and external audits.
  3. Liaise with auditors, prepare relevant documentation, and ensure compliance procedures are followed.
  4. Manage aspects of fleet operations, including maintenance schedules, insurance, and tracking usage.
  5. Oversee payroll administration and assist with HR onboarding processes for new staff.
  6. Book meetings, prepare agendas, and provide support to senior leadership and project teams.
  7. Handle general administrative tasks and provide support across departments as needed.
