Job summary

OXBO, a fast-growing renewable energy IPP, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their collaborative Glasgow team. You will help deliver multiple utility-scale Solar and BESS construction projects, coordinating across construction activities, Health & Safety, and quality standards on site.

You will engage with grid interfaces, manage procurement and contract administration, and identify risks with mitigation plans while keeping stakeholders informed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of renewable energy development and delivery experience.
• Experience in Solar PV, BESS or Onshore wind.
• Experience in contract preparation, negotiation and administration.
• Strong knowledge of UK & Ireland Construction, CDM, Health & Safety, and environmental regs.
• Understanding of grid operators and connection processes.
• Confident communicator with stakeholders and contractor management.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with planning and prioritisation.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of multiple utility-scale Solar and BESS construction projects.
• Assist in management of construction, Health & Safety, and quality standards on sites.
• Support grid interfaces, procurement, and contract administration.
• Identify construction risks and implement mitigation to protect programme and cost.
• Monitor deviations to scope, schedule, or budget and report to senior stakeholders.
• Undertake development and O&M works to gain project life-cycle knowledge.
