Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager – Construction Consultancy
Location: Birmingham
Type: Full-time, permanent
Salary: £35,000–£45,000 + bonus + benefits

An expanding consultancy is looking for an ambitious APM/PM to join their Birmingham team. With a strong pipeline of diverse projects, this is a great chance to develop your project management career, support senior staff, and take on increasing responsibility across exciting schemes.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, people-focused company that values initiative, teamwork, and career growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting delivery of multiple projects across the full lifecycle

  • Assisting senior PMs as a key client contact and trusted advisor

  • Coordinating design and contractor teams to maintain quality and schedules

  • Helping manage budgets, contracts (JCT/NEC), and risks

  • Mentoring junior team members and contributing to business development

What We’re Looking For:

  • Degree-qualified in a construction-related discipline

  • 1–3 years consultancy-based PM experience, or ready to step up from assistant role

  • Strong communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience or interest in sectors such as education, healthcare, or commercial

  • Based in or near the West Midlands, with flexibility to travel

  • Working towards chartership (APM/RICS) is preferred but not essential
